This is a photo taken on my christmas tree. I wanted to get a bokeh background and I think that this worked really well here.

It is a little late after christmas, but I only really had time to edit the photos and upload them.

Mimo iż święta się skończyły, to jeszcze zmieściłeś się w marginesie błędu spóźnienia. Pierwsze co rzuca się w oczy ( co wcale dobrze nie świadczy ) to ten bokeh z tej pięćdziesiątki Canona f/1.8. Bokehlicious ! - jak powiedziałby Kai. Ładny, okrągły, lecz chyba troszkę za mocno rzucający się w oczy. Rozumiem iż jest to świąteczne jasne zdjęcie, ale wg. mnie wygląda trochę zbyt jasno. Bombka, czyli element główny zdjęcia jest wypozycjonowana jest przyjemnie pod skosem delikatnym i z boku kadru. Użycie takiej przysłony skutkuje jednak tym, że tylna część bombki jest dosyć już wciągnięta w nie wyraźność - można było z nią pokombinować. Wyglądałoby to znacznie lepiej wyraźniejsze. Podoba mi się wzór na bombce. Kolory są przyjemne i świąteczne. Ogólnie podoba mi się, lecz mogłoby być oryginalniejsze.

Gorgeous, gorgeous. The bokeh looks absolutely gorgeous, and the overall tone of the picture is so so nice. I really love this, nice job.
Christmas lights are such a good excuse to play around with bokeh, haha.

hehehe :) Im really glad that you like it.

The technical side: Well, basically the aperture (a small diaphragm inside a lens) was wide open, which meant that the depth of sharpness was very low. This means that the further things are from the subject, the more blurred they are. The circles are just christmas lights, that went out of focus. :D
